Musk says Grok Bot serving costs were 'unsustainably high' as users hit weekly caps early
Elon Musk said the cost of serving Grok Bot, the always-on AI agent that runs tasks on its own virtual computer, was "unsustainably high relative to revenue," replying on X Sunday to a user who asked for a usage reset. Subscribers had reported their weekly allowances jumping to 100% days before the reset, in some cases overnight while idle. Musk gave no cost or revenue figures and did not say whether limits, prices or resets would change. On Monday some users reported their usage meters had been restored to prior levels, with no official statement from the company.
