DeepSeek open-sources 'Super-Agent' coding agent to rival Anthropic's Claude Code

DeepSeek's Harness team released Super-Agent, an open-source, MIT-licensed research prototype of a more autonomous coding agent, announcing it on WeChat on Saturday. The agent works on a single GitHub repository, can optionally listen to Feishu team chats, and handles requests in isolated worker sessions before replying with results such as pull requests. DeepSeek says it is not an official product and differs from its internal version; in the team's own simulated test, 95th-percentile task completion time fell from 29.5 to 15.7 minutes versus a single-session setup.
