Trump says US looking 'closely' at report Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was target of China spy plot

President Trump said Saturday the US will look "very closely" at a New York Times report that US intelligence concluded a Megaspeed executive who grew close to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was passing information to Beijing, while calling Huang "brilliant" and saying "we want to protect our brilliant people." Asked at Mar-a-Lago whether Huang would stay on as an adviser, Trump said "I would like to say yes," adding "unless we find out something to the contrary" and calling Huang "very above board." China's foreign ministry has dismissed the report as "groundless speculation," and Nvidia has said Huang's interactions with the executive were routine customer dealings.
